The strategy module is designed to capture all the organisational goals​ and focus areas of a strategy. The focus areas are linked to the strategy objectives. The module also reflects the programmes​ and processes​ that support the focus areas.​These in turn are cascaded to projects and activities.

The organisation strategy in this application is cascaded in the following manner:

 

• Organisation goals are given effect to by focus area objectives

• Focus area objectives are cascaded to programmes that are supported by projects

• Focus area objectives are also cascaded to processes that are supported by activities

• Activities are translated into procedures

• All of the above objectives carry risk

• Risks identified for all objectives give rise to the formulation of risk responses

• Risk responses are linked to ​policies

• Policies​ are given effect to by procedures
